Executive Director

Isabel Rodriguez has worked in senior living and health care for over 30 years. Each day, she looks forward to learning and making a difference in the lives of residents at Solstice at Las Cruces.

Outside of work, Isabel is a proud wife, mother and grandmother.

Senior Director of Sales and Marketing

Laura Arriaga is the senior director of Sales and Marketing for Solstice Senior Living at Las Cruces. She joins the team with more than a decade of experience in the senior living industry, and previously served as director of sales and marketing for Invigorate Post Acute of Las Cruces.

She loves putting a smile on people’s faces and giving back to the community. In her free time, Laura enjoys cooking, baking, spending time with Ruben, her husband of 30 years, and daughter Valeria, and supporting her favorite sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Lakers.

Miriam Torres, Vibrant Life® Director, Solstice at Las Cruces

Vibrant Life® Director

Miriam Torres is the Vibrant Life® director for Solstice Senior Living at Las Cruces. She previously served as the Vibrant Life® assistant. She cherishes being a part of the Solstice team and is ready to embrace the role of director and motivate Solstice residents to be the best they can be.

Born in El Paso, Miriam has lived in Las Cruces most of her life. Miriam is married with two children, Alonso and Anahi.

Kim Shipton, Business Office Director, Solstice at Las Cruces

Business Office Director

Kim Shipton, Business Office director, joined Solstice at Las Cruces in July 2021 as a concierge and was promoted to her current role within five months. Kim previously cared for her grandmother for nine years and knew she wanted to work with seniors the first day she walked in the door.

Steven (Pete) LeMonier 

Culinary Services Director

Steven LeMonier has been a chef for almost 40 years. He trained as a certified chef in Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from Washburne Trade School in 1986. He worked in high-end hotels and restaurants along Chicago’s Gold Coast, notably The Drake Hotel and Spiaagias, preparing nouvelle cuisine in the mid-80s and on fine dining cruise ships with The Odyssey Cruise Lines at Chicago’s Navy Pier. In addition, he worked at everything from “greasy spoon” diners, sports bars and casinos to leasing kitchens and owning and operating a food truck. Steven has spent seven years working with the senior community and finds it the most rewarding.

Building Services Director

Raul Morales, our Building Services director, has worked with Solstice at Las Cruces since October 2021. He loves making a difference in residents’ lives and putting smiles on their faces.  

Raul has four children and two grandchildren and enjoys spending quality time with them, being in the outdoors and watching his favorite NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys.
